Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
Why should I work with a financial advisor?
Working with a financial advisor may be one of the best decisions you ever make.
It is safe to say no one would attempt open heart surgery themselves. Instead, you would consult a professional, a specialist.
Here at RSAG, our team combines their years of experience in advice and industry knowledge to put all the pieces of your financial life together. With a team like ours behind you, you will feel empowered enough to put all of your financial affairs in order.
What can I expect from an initial consultation?
We position our Discovery Meetings to serve as much more than a consultation.
We want to learn as much as we can about you as well as the people and things that are important to you. This includes understanding what financial success looks like to you.
This is also an opportunity for you to learn about us. The Discovery Meeting gives you the chance to see how we work and to help determine if we’ll be a good fit for you.
There is no cost, no obligation and no commitment at this stage.
Do we have to meet in person?
You choose! While we love to interact with our clients face-to-face, there are many reasons this is not always feasible. We feel confident that we can deliver a great experience to you whether we meet in person, virtually or over the phone.
What is a fiduciary?
A fiduciary is, in these circumstances, someone who has a responsibility to put the client first. As fiduciaries, we have an ethical and legal duty to act in the best interest of the clients, rather than in our own interest.
With a fiduciary you rest assured that your financial advisor is always working for the best outcome for you.
What is the minimum amount I need to invest with you?
We believe that everyone deserves to get expert financial advice. For that reason, we do not operate with account minimums, but rather with household minimums. This can be reviewed during our one-on-one meeting.
How does RSAG get paid?
There are three ways which our clients engage us in a relationship:
Financial Planning
Investment Management
Product Implementation
How often will I hear from you?
One of our foundations has always been communication. We want to keep our clients up to date on everything that could impact their goals. We like to keep in touch with our clients based on their needs, but all clients will get monthly communication from us vias newsletters, emails, seminar invites or social media posts. We meet with our investment clients semi-annually or quarterly in order to keep them up to date on their allocations and performance.
For more information about our firm and the services we offer, send us a quick email or call the office. We would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
